CARLO VAN DAM ENDS FINAL F3-WEEKEND WITH A VICTORY!

OSCHERSLEBEN, 30 SEPTEMBER, 2007 -- With a victory Carlo van Dam ended
the German Formula 3 championship in a glorious way. At the Oschersleben
circuit the new ATS Formula 3 Cup Championship showed once more he was
the only one to lay claim to the title. In the first race the Dutchman
showed his potential. After some impressive overtaking manoeuvres he
ended up on the podium again in third place. The Van Amersfoort Racing
driver scored 9 wins, 10 pole positions, 7 fastest race laps and 16
podium finishes this season. Van Dam also dominated the Rookie Cup,
scoring 150 points. In the coming months the young driver will not be
doing nothing. By taking the title Van Dam earned himself a test in a GP2
race car. He is also looking at his options for the new season.
