ENNIS, Tex., (Sept. 23, 2007) -- During final eliminations Sunday of
the O'Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals in Ennis, Tex., just a few miles
south of downtown Dallas, native Australian Dave Grubnic, driver of the
8,000-horsepower Zantrex-3 Top Fuel dragster, put forth his best effort
of the weekend on the all-concrete racing surface at the Texas Motorplex
in the first round of eliminations, but he came up just short of getting
the win light.
